Ask on WhatsApp

What are the types of residence visa in Dubai?

Residence comes through property, a company, an employer or a freelance permit. Property alone offers the ten-year Golden Visa, the five-year retirement visa and the two-year property visa.

How do I get a UAE residence visa?

Through a job, a company you own, a freelance permit, Dubai property or a resident family member. Each route has its own test, so your situation points to one, and checking it first saves you buying the wrong thing.

What is a self-sponsored visa in Dubai?

A residence with no employer or relative behind it, so a job change does not touch it. The Golden, Green and retirement visas work this way, each renewed while you still meet its test.

What is the minimum property value for a residence visa in Dubai?

None for a sole owner of a completed home on the two-year visa, while a joint share needs AED 400,000. The retirement visa starts at AED 1 million and the Golden Visa at AED 2 million.

How much is the 2-year UAE residence visa?

It depends on who joins you. Each person aged 18 or over needs a medical test, and everyone needs an Emirates ID and health insurance. A 15-minute call prices your household.

How long does a residence visa through property take in Dubai?

A property Golden Visa usually takes 7 to 10 business days in all, including the Emirates ID, once the file is complete. Family permits follow your own visa.

Can my own company sponsor my residence visa?

Yes. Once your mainland or free zone company holds an establishment card, it can sponsor you as an owner and sponsor the people it hires. The partner and employment visa pages cover each route.

Can DM Consultancy manage my residency?

Yes, end to end. We check your route, prepare the file with you and manage it through to your Emirates ID and each family permit. Some routes need you in the UAE in person, and we plan around that.
