Information We Collect

We collect only the information we need to respond to your enquiry and deliver an engagement. This typically includes your name, email address, telephone number, and any details you choose to share about your business or situation when you contact us, complete a form, or speak with us. Where you engage us for a service, we collect the documents and information required for that specific matter, for example passport copies, proof of address, shareholder details, or financial records, as the relevant UAE authority or bank requires.

How We Use It

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, assess whether your situation fits our practice, prepare and deliver the work you engage us for, communicate with the relevant authorities and banks on your behalf where instructed, and meet our own legal and regulatory obligations in the UAE. We do not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Where delivering your engagement requires it, we share only what is necessary with the relevant processors, for example a UAE government authority such as DET, ICA, GDRFA, or the FTA, a bank you are applying to, or an attestation or notarisation service. These parties receive only the information needed for that step, and only because the engagement cannot proceed without it.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to deliver the engagement and to meet UAE record-keeping rules. For regulated records, this means a minimum of five years, in line with the retention periods set under UAE law. When information is no longer required and we are not obliged to retain it, we delete or securely dispose of it.

Your Rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. To make a request, email info@dm-uae.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

Cookies & Analytics

This site sets a small number of essential cookies required for it to function and to remember your privacy choice. These are always active.

With your consent, we also use analytics and marketing cookies, such as Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These load only after you select “Accept all” on the banner shown on your first visit. If you choose “Essential only,” or take no action, none of them are set. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies and data in your browser, which restores the banner on your next visit. Declining analytics and marketing cookies does not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.
